claire daly
Claire Daly has established a reputation as one of the most talented, eclectic and innovative baritone saxophonists on today's jazz scene. A four-time winner of the Downbeat Critic's Poll "Talent Deserving Wider Recognition," Daly also won the Jazz Journalist Association's "Baritone Sax of the Year '05" category. After graduation from Berklee College of Music, Daly anchored the sax section in the Diva Big Band for seven years, and has recorded three CDs as a leader.

ray drummond
Bassist Ray Drummond’s discography includes more than 300 recordings with legends such as Stan Getz, Kenny Burrell, David Murray and Wynton Marsalis. Drummond also has 11 recordings to his credit as a leader or co-leader, and currently has three working groups: the Excursion sextet, a quartet and a duo with pianist Bill Mays. Drummond is currently an Assistant Professor at California State University Monterey Bay.

Oliver Lake
Oliver Lake is truly a modern Renaissance Man. In addition to his musical contributions as a composer, saxophonist, flautist and bandleader, Lake is also a renowned poet, painter and performance artist. In addition to performing and touring with his Steel Quartet, his Big Band, the World Saxophone Quartet, Trio 3 and his one man performance piece, Matador of 1st and 1st,, Lake collaborates with Mary Redhouse, Anna Devere Smith, Patricia Williams, Craig Harris, Shuni Tsou and other artists in many disciplines.

PETER LEITCH
Peter Leitch recorded with Oscar Peterson in 1980, and has gone on to record or perform with John Hicks, Kenny Barron, Tommy Flanagan and a host of other top musicians. Leitch displays his swinging, hardbop-based style on 16 recordings as a leader as well on the Concord, Criss Cross and Reservoir labels. Leitch works in a variety of settings – from duo to sextet, and has been an artist-in-residence and a clinician at many universities.

BRIAN OWENS
Brian Owens is rapidly earning a reputation as one of the most promising young vocalists on today's music scene. At the age of 26, Owens has already worked with Dianne Reeves, Peter Martin, Christine Brewer and Herlin Riley -- and opened for Ramsey Lewis, Boney James and Spyro Gyra, Brian's recent live recording, Inspired, is the follow up to B Natural, his debut studio effort.

ERIC PERSON
Proficient on both saxophone and flute, Eric Person has established himself as one of the freshest, most dynamic musicians on the contemporary jazz scene. Since moving to New York in 1982, Person has worked and recorded with Dave Holland, the world Saxophone Quartet, Chico Hamilton and others. Person leads his own group, Meta-Four, and has recorded six releases as a leader. Person is also an accomplished composer and arranger, and writes most of the material performed by Meta-Four.

ERIC REVIS
Bassist Eric Revis received his early musical training under the guidance of Ellis Marsalis, Harold Batiste and Victor Goines at the University of New Orleans before moving to New York City in 1994 to play with legendary vocalist Betty Carter. Since 1997, Revis has been the bassist for the Branford Marsalis Quartet. He has also recorded with Russell Gunn, James Hurt, Jeff Watts and Orrin Evans. Revis released his debut recording as a leader, Tales of the Stuttering Mime, in 2004.

ANITA ROSAMOND
Vocalist/pianist/songwriter Anita Rosamond has earned a reputation as one of the most exciting performers on the Midwest music scene. Anita has won critical acclaim for recent performances at the St. Louis Jazz & Heritage Festival, Jazz at the Bistro, the Sheldon Concert Hall, the Old Webster Jazz Festival, the Big Muddy Blues Festival. She will be a featured artist on the 2009 Jazz Cruise in the Caribbean. Anita's vocal talent and wide-ranging repertoire are showcased on her 2006 recording, Timeless, a winning blend of standards, soulful R&B and well-crafted originals.... 2007's This is Christmas, featuring renowned musicians such as Peter Martin and Tom Kennedy... and her 2008 tribute to the Divas of the '60s and '70s, Keep Liftin' Me Higher - LIVE!

 
TIM SCHALL
Tim Schall is a singer and actor who is accomplished on stage, in concert halls, and nightclubs throughout St. Louis and the United States. His original cabaret shows have been performed in St. Louis, Boston, Chicago and Santa Fe, and Schall has also appeared at theaters in Chicago and St. Louis, including The Muny, The St. Louis Black Repertory Theatre and Stages St. Louis. Schall's recent performances have focused on the classic songs of Richard Rodgers, with performances at the Sheldon... and "Classic Cole," a tribute to the legendary Cole Porter, presented to sold out audiences at the Kranzberg Arts Center. Cabaret Legend Amanada McBroom states, "Tim Schall sings with a voice like honey, a heart full of emotion and mind that knows how to tell a story. That's the cabaret triple crown."

DAWN WEBER
World class trumpet player. Prolific songwriter. Stylish vocalist. A mesmerizing, high-energy stage presence. That’s just a basic overview of what the multi-talented, eclectic Dawn Weber brings to every performance. The St. Louis-based artist has a background that includes extensive training in both classical and jazz trumpet and flugelhorn. Her studies at the North Carolina School of the Arts and the Conservatory at the Cleveland Institute of Music prepared her for performances at Carnegie Hall and international competitions. Dawn Weber continues to play classical music on occasion with the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra... But her talent and personality really shine as a skilled jazz and electronic music performer. Dawn has also worked in almost every musical genre over the years – from rock, R&B, swing and salsa to hip-hop and funk styles.
