OVERVIEW

Arts Junction will work with artists and presenters in researching and writing grants to gain funding for specific projects such as tours and performances, the commissioning of new works and educational outreach and residency opportunities. Jo Ann Collins, founder of Arts Junction, has 20 years of experience writing successful grant applications to organizations such as Chamber Music America, Meet The Composer, Arts Partners grants funded by the Lila Wallace Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts. With the assistance of Terry Perkins, who has been a professional writer for 25 years and the Arts Junction research staff, Jo Ann will focus on creating a funding proposal designed to meet the criteria of the specific granting agency requirements - and work to provide your project with the best opportunity to be approved for funding.

FEES

Grant services will be billed on an hourly basis of $25 for both research and writing. Arts Junction will provide clients with a firm price range for its grant services after an initial discussion of the focus of the grant and the selection of the granting agency.

GRANT FUNDING INFORMATION

In order to make Arts Junction grant services as effective and affordable as possible for our clients, it will be more cost effective for each client to do initial research with a focused objective for proposed funding. In addition, identifying grant agencies appropriate to provide that specified funding will make the process more affordable. Arts Junction also can assist clients in identifying appropriate granting agencies. We have listed several granting agencies below, with application deadlines that are approaching in the near future. If you have an interest in applying for a grant from one of these agencies, please contact us ASAP.

Please note that your grant research should also include state and local art agencies as well as private foundations in your city, state or region.
